David Alan Baum, 61, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on August 13 following a courageous battle with cancer.

David was predeceased by his parents, Al R. and LaVerne Baum. He is survived by his brothers, Stephen Baum and Daniel Baum, his sister, Rhion Magee, son, Hunter Baum, daughter, Danielle Slocum, two grandchildren and many loving friends.

David was an amazing artist and musician, dedicating most of his life to creating beautiful pieces of jewelry and to playing in various musical venues in the Southeast. Renowned for his creativity, David’s work was featured in several movies and in a popular television series.

David’s family is forever grateful for the love and support he received during his illness. Details for an intimate memorial will be shared soon.
